Eurex Providing Anonymous Latency Reports

To help firms understand their market data and connectivity latency, Eurex now provides two sets of reports. The first is a set of latency statistics for each of its global network points of presence (PoPs)-which include proximity hosting sites in Frankfurt and PoPs in London, New York, Amsterdam, Chicago, Dublin, Milan, Paris, and Zurich-captured at one-minute intervals throughout the trading day. This provides a full latency profile that gives clients an indication of how latency differs depending both on the PoP location from where a client is accessing the data, and on market conditions at the time.

For the second component, a network latency league table, Eurex now provides daily reports that rank each trading participant anonymously, relative to its peers.
