The LaSalle Technology Group, LLC (LTG) was founded in 2006 by father and son combo Jim & Jacob Northey. The principal business of LTG is to deliver expertise in the high tech finance industry while developing products that make deploying large financial applications easier.

LTG offers FIX and FAST consultancy as well as custom application development built on top of their DataSheet Framework. Having worked closely with the FIX Protocol Ltd. in developing the FIX and FAST specifications, both Jim and Jacob have great insight into the current implementations as well as where the two standards are heading.

The Lasalletech DataSheet Framework (LDF) is an application development framework built on top of the Eclipse Platform (http://www.eclipse.org). The strength of the LDF is in the ability to rapidly develop and deploy data-driven applications.

Jim brings over twenty years of experience as a manager, consultant and implementer in the financial markets. Prior to starting LTG, he was the manager of the derivatives practice area for Jordan & Jordan, a leading global management and technology firm. Jim has been a consistent contributor to the FIX Protocol Organization where he served as co-chair to the Global Derivatives Committee.

Jacob has been developing software for over a decade in various languages with a strong leaning towards Java. Before starting LTG, he worked as an Application Developer at ThoughtWorks, a global IT consultancy focusing on custom applications. While at ThoughtWorks he gained domain experience working on different custom financial applications.
